1. Service Agreement

These terms apply together with your individual service quote and selected Economy or Premier plan. Your quote identifies the service areas and quoted plowing price.

Services outside the quoted areas, including shoveling, ice treatment, snow hauling, and other special requests, are additional unless expressly included.

Commercial properties, vacation rentals, and other income properties require Premier service.

2. Economy Service

  • Automatic plowing when snowfall reaches 3 inches, measured at our location in Lakeville.

  • Service completed within two days after the storm ends, subject to the severe-weather and access conditions below.

  • For snowfall below 3 inches or buildup from multiple smaller storms, clients must call to request service.

  • Special requests outside regular service and ice-treatment-only visits carry additional trip charges.

  • Clearing buildup from multiple storms involves additional fees based on conditions.

  • Shoveling and ice treatments are available for an additional charge.

Salt-only visits carry a $40 trip charge, plus the cost of material applied. Other special-request trip charges will be disclosed before service.

3. Premier Service

  • Automatic service for all plowable storms, at our discretion. Plowability depends on snow depth, surface conditions, and whether our equipment can effectively clear the snow.

  • Guaranteed completion on the first day after the storm ends, subject to the severe-weather and access conditions below.

  • Automatic service for each plowable storm helps prevent buildup from multiple storms without requiring a separate request.

  • Ice treatments may be included in your service arrangement for an additional charge.

  • Trip charges are waived for ice-treatment-only visits and special requests outside regular service. Charges for the actual work and materials still apply.

  • End-of-season spreading of gravel piles displaced by our plowing is included. Clients must contact us in the spring to schedule this work.

4. Storm Accumulation & Pricing

Your quoted plowing price applies to storms totaling up to 12 inches. Pricing for larger storms is based on the total snowfall for the entire storm, rather than the depth present during an individual visit.

Up to 12 inches - Quoted price

Over 12 through 24 inches - Quoted price × 2

Over 24 through 36 inches - Quoted price × 3

Over 36 inches - Separate quote based on conditions and equipment needed

These tiers apply to the storm as a whole. If we make multiple regular plowing passes during the same storm, the storm charge is not multiplied by the number of passes. Separately requested services and authorized additional work remain additional.

Automatic service begins according to your selected Economy or Premier plan’s snowfall trigger. The trigger determines when automatic service is activated; it does not guarantee immediate arrival.

Heavy equipment, and snow relocation are separately quoted when required.

5. Scheduling & Severe Conditions

Standard plowing begins after the storm has concluded. Route order and arrival times depend on your service plan, road conditions, property access, and safe equipment operation.

The service windows above may be extended when road closures, travel restrictions, dangerous conditions, inaccessible properties, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent safe completion. We will communicate delays through our service-update channels.

Specific arrival times are not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing. Timing requests must be communicated before the storm begins.

6. Skipped Storms & Accumulated Snow

Regular service helps prevent snow from becoming compacted, frozen, or too deep for standard plowing equipment.

Clients may decline service for a particular storm by contacting us before work begins. However, snow left from previous storms is not included in the standard price for a later storm.

Economy clients must request service for buildup from multiple smaller storms. Additional fees apply based on accumulation, compaction, ice, and equipment needed.

Premier service includes automatic attendance for each plowable storm. This benefit does not include buildup caused by client-requested cancellations, blocked access, or service declined by the client.

We may require a separate quote or additional equipment before clearing accumulated or frozen snow.

7. Salt, Cinders & Ice Treatment

The starting salt application rate is $25 per 50 pounds, billed in 50-pound increments.

Salt pricing varies with supplier pricing and availability. Rates may change during the season because of supplier increases, shortages, or changes in material availability. Revised rates will be communicated before material is applied at the new rate.

Bulk salt and cinder pricing is available upon request.

Ice treatment and materials are separately billable unless expressly included in your quote. Your service confirmation or separate request must identify whether ice treatment is authorized.

Premier clients receive waived trip charges for ice-treatment-only visits; the treatment and materials are not free.

Deicing effectiveness varies with temperature, precipitation, drainage, and surface conditions. Additional authorized treatments are separately billable.

8. Property Access & Preparation

Clients are responsible for:

  • Moving vehicles and other obstructions from service areas.

  • Identifying driveway boundaries, approved snow-storage areas, and concealed hazards before the season.

  • Notifying us of raised pavers, damaged pavement, drainage structures, low fixtures, and other vulnerable features.

  • Keeping people and pets away from operating equipment.

Blocked or inaccessible areas may be left unplowed. A return visit may involve additional service charges. Applicable charges will be disclosed before the return visit.

9. Snow Placement & Additional Work

Snow will be placed in practical locations within the agreed service area. Restrictions on snow placement must be communicated before the season begins.

Snow hauling, relocating previously piled snow, and clearing snow deposited by municipal plows after our service are additional unless included in your quote.

Premier trip-charge waivers do not waive charges for additional labor, equipment, or materials.

10. Normal Wear & Property Concerns

Standard plowing may displace loose gravel, disturb grass along driveway edges, or cause minor surface scuffing, particularly when the ground is soft or unfrozen.

These ordinary effects are considered normal wear associated with snow removal. This provision does not excuse damage caused by negligent operation.

Please report suspected service-related damage promptly, with photographs when possible, so we can inspect and address the concern.

Spring Gravel Restoration

Upon request, we offer routine spring raking and spreading of gravel displaced by our plowing:

  • Premier clients: Included at no additional charge.

  • Economy clients: $75.

Clients must contact us in the spring to schedule this service. Replacement materials, reseeding, grading, and other restoration work require separate agreement.

11. Winter Surface Conditions

Plowing does not guarantee bare pavement or an ice-free surface. Residual snow, packed snow, slippery areas, and refreezing may remain or develop after service.

Clients should use caution and contact us when additional service is needed. Neither plan includes continuous inspection or monitoring between visits.

Nothing in these terms eliminates either party’s responsibility for its own negligence or limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Special Requests & Cancellation

Special requirements, service-area changes, and timing requests must be communicated before the storm begins. Additional work requires agreement on any additional charges.

To decline service for a specific storm, contact (570) 228-9852 before service is performed. Until cancellation is received, automatic service remains scheduled according to your plan.

Completed services remain billable. To end seasonal service, contact us directly so we can confirm removal from the route. Nothing in this section limits applicable statutory cancellation rights.

13. Service Alerts & Communication

We provide storm and route updates through SMS alerts and our official Facebook page. Clients are responsible for monitoring one of these channels for announcements.

SMS Enrollment

From the mobile phone where you want to receive alerts:

  • Economy clients: Text ECONOMY to (570) 532-9199.

  • Premier clients: Text PREMIER to (570) 532-9199.

All returning clients must sign up again from their phones for this season—even if they received text alerts last winter. Confirming service by email does not enroll you in SMS alerts.

Follow the enrollment prompts to complete signup. SMS enrollment is optional. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing from alerts does not cancel snow service. For service requests, changes, or cancellations, call (570) 228-9852.

14. Billing & Acceptance

Services and authorized materials are billed according to your individual quote and these terms. Payment is due according to the terms shown on your quote or invoice.

Your seasonal confirmation should identify your selected plan, service property, included areas, quoted plowing price, ice-treatment preference, and acceptance of these terms.

Changes to the agreed service scope or pricing will be communicated and agreed upon before the affected work proceeds.
